Translated from its German origins, Kindergarten means “child’s garden”, and one of the differences you’ll notice when you visit one of our centres, is our Great Big Backyards. They’re tailor made for exploration, learning, fun, and nurturing a love of nature.
Kindergarten has been at the heart of communities for more than 100 years, and is so well-loved, that multiple generations of whānau choose us over and over again. We’ve been staunch advocates for fully qualified and registered teachers right from the start, because we know that children learn best through play and at their own pace, but they do even better with guidance and encouragement from trained professionals. Our kaiako really get to know families and tamariki, and see every child as an individual.
